Problem:
Majestic Building Products needed to find a company that would edit
their pricing catalog, which was printed on cardstock paper.
They needed to quickly change prices, add pictures of doors,
windows, and trim, and print new catalogs for their sales people to be
able to show customers.
Solution:
NEI was able to scan thick cardstock paper and convert
the original pricing catalog to an electronic format. We successfully
lifted black marker corrections that the customer had written on each page
then added black and white and color photos to the catalog.
We converted the documents to MS WORD, so that the customer
could change the prices at any future date.
Finally, we provided the documents to our customer in both an electronic
format and cardstock copies.

Problem:
One of Tampa General
Hospital's labs had over 100,000 patient records in storage boxes.
When they needed to refer back to lab results, it required an
employee to spend hours searching through boxes of loose papers, and
reading each name to find the one that he was looking for.
Sometimes this process even took days.
Solution: NEI removed staples and paperclips from the records and
photos, and quickly scanned them and put them on CD-ROM so that the
hospital could immediately increase their performance and improve their
service. The hospital is now
able to search by patient name or medical record number to find documents
in a matter of seconds rather than hours.

Problem:
Dr.
Hain is in the research industry and is plagued by huge piles of paper in
file cabinets. His office tried to scan thousand of documents with an HP
scanner. It was a very slow process, so they decide to outsource the job
to a service bureau.
Solution: Dr.
Hain’s office shipped boxes of documents to NEI for document imaging.
Once they were comfortable with the CDs, NEI destroyed the originals.
All of Dr. Hain’s stacks of paper have been converted into more
manageable forms.
Through NEI’s efforts, his research will be more efficient and
productive.
